ROMEiNGPANDA is created by ROME, The Roaming PANDA also know as Jerome Solomon in real life. An artist, designer and candy enthusiast, he was born and raised in the Bronx, NYC, where there’s no bamboo tree for him to hang around on. Armed with pencil, crayons, paper and imagination, Rome created his own world of fun; which is greatly triggered by his favorite cartoons and love for Japanese Culture. It is by this humble beginning that led to the creation of the brand ROMEiNGPANDA, which utilizes Rome’s pop-culture inspired aesthetics and boasts of his personal view on life through art and design.
With fun and ingenuity in mind, Rome produced the “PANDA Power Emeralds,” unique collection of quirky, eccentric jewelry, which was first showcased in 2009. The shining crystals evoke the familiar forms of regular gummy bears, embellished as wearable accessories become a tasteful treat to the eyes. This soon became a worldwide hit, to which the pop culture accepted with delight.
